The app allows sales reps and medical facility staff to easily scan products and create a summary of the supplies used during a surgical procedures, thus allowing them to avoid the inconvenience of paperwork, human errors, and payment delays. The scanned data is sent to the cloud where all parties involved have the ability to view the data, submit comments, and finalize the purchase orders and invoices.

Prowebdesign was subcontracted by our long-time partner, CustomSoft, to further their UX thinking and create the UI for the app.

Wireframes
CustomSoft team has supplied us with detailed project description and lo-fi wireframes. This allowed us to jump right in, and – after an interview with the stakeholders – start with hi-fi wireframes. This type of wireframing allowed us to design the user flows and fine tune each interaction, while keeping abstraction from the app branding and future color scheme iterations.
Design language
We have created a terse and minimalistic set of symbols & components that covered every aspect of the app UI design and gave it the desired branded look.
Smart use of FIGMA auto-layout functionality allowed for dynamic, expandable elements in the app prototypes, which helped us show how the user would interact with the app, before actual coding.
